What We Believe

Our Mission Statement

“The W.A.V.E” – “We Affirm Victory Eternally & Encourage ALL People to Know God.”

Our Vision

We envision a Church so compassionate that people are drawn from often impossible situations to a loving and friendly circle of hope, where answers are found and acceptance is given. The Church that we see has a message so clear that lives are changed forever and potential is fulfilled. The Church that we see is a Church of influence, so worthy that the community and those we reach locally, nationally and globally cannot ignore it.

We anticipate friends bringing friends to our Worship services because they will hear God’s Word presented clearly and creatively in an atmosphere of love and acceptance. We imagine the people of our Church community sharing their faith at work over coffee, at home around the dinner table, and during recreation and leisure time activities. Our goal is that every member be a minister within and outside our Church.

We foresee a larger facility that will accommodate our growth and accessible to all within our reach. While we do not believe “bigger is better,” numerical growth is a by-product of the effectiveness of our ministry. We welcome all people into our family, just as God did by welcoming all into His family.

We hope to expand our Hospitality Ministry into a building and resource center that will provide shelter, food, personal comfort, peace and love for our immediate community.

About God

We desire to grow as God prospers us and uses us to reach saints and seekers; individuals and families; those more or less fortunate; young and old; red, yellow, black and white; and blue collars, white collars, or no collars.

Our Future

We will be good stewards financially. We will increase the outreach God is calling us to build within our ministry. It is our hope that our followers and supporters will passionately embrace our initiatives and invest in “what can be,” so that our ministry can function in the coming years as God intended.

Our past is rich with accomplishments. This is our dream about our future, about what Pine Island Community Church could be. More importantly, we feel it is what Pine Island Community Church should be and will be!
